The books are divided into two parts:

1. The lifecycle phase is discussed in detail, in a standardized structure. In addition there is general information on principles of processes, teams, roles, functions, positions, tools, and other elements of interest.
2. Specifically addresses the processes and functions of the lifecycle stage and are described in detail. Each of these processes and functions is described in terms of :

• Activities, methods and techniques
• Interfaces, inputs and outputs  

• Metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Implementation, with Critical Success Factors (CSFs), challenges, risks and traps
